Kannapolis Branch Collection

THE KANNAPOLIS PUBLIC LIBRARY WELCOMES YOU

Our library strives to educate, enrich, and empower* the community by providing resources that respond to our patrons’ needs, interests, and aspirations.

The Kannapolis Library extends to 49,000 residents and is our northernmost library in Cabarrus County. Our population has increased dramatically and the city is responding to the needs of the growing community by revitalizing the downtown area. The library is growing and changing in kind to continue to provide excellent services to our residents.

The staff of KPL are working hard to meet the requests and needs of our patrons by cultivating a larger Young Adult collection, a more complete Adult Fiction collection with more copies of best selling books, an increased Spanish Language collection, a more thorough Large Print Collection for our patrons who have visual difficulties, and a Career Assistance collection.

These collections were developed by Kannapolis Public Library staff in response to the Kannapolis community’s feedback. Featuring culturally diverse authors, a mix of genres, and a range of resource formats, they reflect the richness of our dynamic and growing community.

The librarians at KPL are committed to providing the highest caliber of service to our patrons. We encourage you to contact us directly with any questions, concerns, or ideas you might have about the library's resources.
